St. Augustine has two main beaches, Vilano and St. Augustine Beach, as well as Anastasia State Park, just five to seven miles from our hotel. St. Augustine beaches are beautiful natural beaches, with soft white sand and different things to do at low and high tide. Vilano lets you experience beaches consisting of crushed coquina shells hiding sharks’ teeth for you to find. Go for a swim in the ocean, rent a bike or explore the water on a paddle board. At sunrise, the pier offers a truly unforgettable view and surfers blend into the warm colors melted away by the Florida sun.
St. Augustine’s unique history can be found all around you in the Old City just by walking through the winding streets. For a one-of-a-kind experience, Flagler College is housed in a historic Gilded Age hotel! There’s a lot of history to discover throughout the city, including the Castillo de San Marcos, a stone fort completed over three hundred years ago.
